Google Classroom

We teach using Google Classroom, hosting our video calls through Google Meet.

Every student has their own Google Classroom created for them, which only they have access to. The benefits of Google Classroom are plentiful, with the key benefits for our students being:

  • Easy and immediate access to all notes and resources from lessons in one place.

  • Assignments can be set on the Classroom for students to work on, with the tutor being able to provide immediate feedback.

  • Parents/Guardians can have access to the Classroom as well and can see all we are working on.

  • Linked access to our private Google Meet.

  • Resources all organised by topic.

  • Easily set and track homework with deadlines.

  • Go-to communication hub between student & tutor.

Resources

As part of our tuition, we will provide students with a range of notes and resources to aid their learning, both in and out of lessons, relevant to the work we have been doing in class.

Many of these resources are ones that we have made ourselves; created with the intention of providing students with tailor-made and refined resources that give them exactly the information and knowledge they need for a particular topic.

Feedback

We know that one of the reasons that many parents/guardians seek tutoring for their children is that they feel out-of-the-loop with how their child is getting on academically, beyond the reports that come home termly or annually.

We pride ourselves on having full transparency in communication back to you and are always happy to provide any feedback and explain anything wherever we can.

Be it over Email or a WhatsApp chat (with the student in or not, dependent on age and parental preference) we always aim to be quick to respond to any query.

Parents & Guardians may also be added to the student’s Google Classroom, to see clearly too all of the work we are focusing on each week.

Pricing

When looking at other tutoring companies, one thing we always found was that the majority of them never displayed their prices on their websites, waiting until you enquired to then tell you. We’ve always felt this to be a little disingenuous and lacking in transparency.
